Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Talent Acquisition leader to join our growing HR team to drive the development and execution of world-class talent acquisition for our fast-paced and dynamic biotech organization. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role will determine the short and long-term talent acquisition strategy and workforce plan in alignment with the company’s goals and talent strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition (TA) function and manage the team
  • Translate business needs and requirements into thoughtful workforce planning and candidate pipeline development
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including best practices in sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, closing and onboarding candidates across all levels and functions
  • Develop employment branding and enhance external presence
  • Augment internal processes and systems on TA metrics, reporting, training and onboarding
  • Partner on selection and implementation of new Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Identify and manage key external partner relationships for supplemental staffing needs and scaling considerations
  • Balance requisition loads among team members and actively recruit for critical business roles and initiatives
  • Work as one team with all of HR to maintain strong business relationships and coordinate overall talent program delivery
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to strategically identify leading candidates from a variety of sourcing channels
  • Analyze and enhance candidate and new hire experiences as needed
  • Ensure the delivery of industry leading TA services
  • Develop customized recruitment strategies that align with business needs and direct recruitment resources to effectively meet those needs
  • Develop robust TA analytics and appropriately message within the organization
  • Leverage data to improve all aspects of the TA function to increase ROI to the organization
  • Build strong long-term business relationships with internal clients and external business partners

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 10 years of talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced environment
  • 5 years of experience and success managing recruitment professionals
  • End-to-end recruitment subject matter expertise
  • Life sciences competitive market intelligence and network
  • Ability to multi-task and creatively problem-solve
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively integrate big picture and key details
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, and coaching expertise
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and all levels in the organization
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into TA approach
  • Sophisticated organizational awareness to manage complex situations to achieve company goals
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to partner across internal and external stakeholder groups
  • “Roll up the sleeves” mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or scientific degree a plus
  • 15+ years of talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced environment
  • 7+ years of experience and success managing recruitment professionals
  • Previous experience sourcing clinical functions and doing a commercial build
  • Thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization and feels comfortable navigating through ambiguity as needed
  • Operates effectively in fluidity and helps to build structure and evolve processes
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, respect, responsibility and conscientiousness
  • Has a strong work ethic and likes to have fun in a team-oriented environment
